4 Indigenous kids had been discovered alive Friday after spending greater than a month misplaced within the Colombian Amazon rainforest following a small airplane crash, President Gustavo Petro introduced.
“A pleasure for the entire nation! The 4 kids who had been misplaced 40 days in the past within the Colombian jungle had been discovered alive,” Petro wrote on Twitter.
His put up included {a photograph} of a number of adults, some wearing army fatigues, attending to the kids who had been sitting on tarps among the many dense forest.

“Sure, the kids have been discovered, however I would like a flight or a helicopter to go and get them urgently,” the kids’s grandfather Fidencio Valencia informed AFP.
Initially from the Uitoto Indigenous group, the kids had been wandering alone within the jungle since Might 1, when the Cessna 206 by which they had been touring crashed.
