Robots ran alongside people on the Yizhuang half marathon in Beijing on Saturday.
Twenty-one humanoid robots, designed by Chinese language producers, raced subsequent to hundreds of runners finishing the 21km (13-mile) course.
The winner was Tiangong Extremely, which crossed the road in two hours, 40 minutes and 42 seconds.
Some robots accomplished the race, whereas others struggled from the start. One robotic fell on the beginning line and lay flat for a number of minutes earlier than getting up and taking off.
Whereas robots have made appearances at marathons in China previously, that is the primary time they’ve raced alongside people over the course of a half marathon.
