Chris Christie on Wednesday fired again at Donald Trump after the previous president launched a video mocking the previous New Jersey governor’s weight.
“Breaking information,” the previous New Jersey governor wrote on Twitter. “I’ve struggled with my weight for 20 years.”
Then he stated Trump’s insults spotlight a key distinction between himself and the previous president on the subject of character:
He stated the insult about his weight does show one factor in regards to the former president: “If that’s one of the best he’s obtained, then he’s misplaced his fastball.”
Christie this week introduced he was within the working for the Republican presidential nomination. Whereas a lot of the presidential candidates have tried to keep away from speaking about Trump, Christie has made it clear that attacking the previous president might be on the coronary heart of his marketing campaign.
Trump responded with a doctored video depicting Christie at a buffet as he made his announcement.
Talking on CNN, Christie referred to as Trump a “child.”
“Everytime you wish to criticize him, in any method, that’s the way in which he responds,” Christie instructed Jake Tapper. “You and I are each fortunate sufficient to be mother and father, and if we had a toddler who performed themselves like that, we’d ship them to their room, to not the White Home.”
