Tom O’Neill, one other author who drew connections between Charles Manson and MKULTRA in his e book Chaos, added: “Each time there’s a faculty capturing, my e book gross sales go up … Effectively, there go my e book gross sales once more. They’re going to skyrocket, as a result of folks actually wish to consider that there’s no such factor as a lone murderer.”
Joseph Uscinski, a political scientist on the College of Miami who research conspiracy theories, mentioned: “Individuals undertake concepts that match the ways in which they already view the world. And there are folks on the market who view the world by means of a lens through which occasions and circumstances are dictated by highly effective, shadowy teams who work in secret.”
“Main leaders in our politics and individuals who have massive followings within the media say numerous conspiracy theories, and that’s the issue – we wind up giving political energy to individuals who espouse these concepts, and that’s very harmful. If we’re going to give attention to something, it should not be, ‘Oh my God, some man in Timbuktu mentioned one thing on Twitter.’ It needs to be, ‘F—ing Trump is saying this s—.’ He is our conspiracist-in-chief.”
