CM Bommai attends last day of National Youth Festival in Hubballi | Bengaluru

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday attended the closing ceremony of the seven-day Nationwide Youth Pageant that was occurring in Hubballi and praised the occasion.

Speaking to the reporters, CM mentioned, “the competition’s valedictory perform was held at the moment. Sportspersons from varied states attended and displayed their abilities. Such an occasion will encourage the youths of this area to make achievements.”

“The Youth Coverage of Karnataka has given significance to schooling, employment, sports activities, and tradition, and the youths are given the chance in all fields. This 12 months, the agricultural sports activities shall be held at village, taluk, district, and state ranges. Desi sports activities like kabaddi, wrestling, and kho-kho have been organized for the primary time to establish rural abilities,” he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the twenty sixth Nationwide Youth Pageant at Hubbali in Karnataka on the beginning anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

The Prime Minister was accorded a heat welcome on his arrival within the metropolis. He held a roadshow with folks thronging the roads, waving at him and showering flowers on his cavalcade.

The twenty sixth Nationwide Youth Pageant was organized at Hubballi- Dharwad, Karnataka by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports activities in collaboration with the Karnataka authorities from January 12 to 16.

The theme of the competition this 12 months was ‘Viksit Yuva Viksit Bharat’.

The competition aimed to step up the position of youth in nation-building throughout Amrit Kaal. It was an endeavour to disseminate the message of ‘Panch Pran’ espoused by the Prime Minister in his Independence Day deal with.

The competition introduced out various cultures from all components of the nation on a standard platform and united the members within the spirit of Ek Bharat and Shreshtha Bharat.

The Pageant additionally witnessed the Youth Summit, which witnessed plenary discussions on 5 themes stemming from G20 and Y20 occasions – Future of labor, Business, Innovation and twenty first Century Expertise; Local weather change and catastrophe danger discount; Peacebuilding and Reconciliation; Shared future-youth in democracy and governance; and Well being & Effectively-being.
