Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday mentioned the month-to-month assortment of products and providers tax (GST) within the State has crossed ₹10,000 crore for 3 months in a row. He mentioned Karnataka is behind Maharashtra in rising out of the impression of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Karnataka’s month-to-month GST assortment has crossed ₹10k crore for 3 months in a row, simply behind Maharashtra. The optimistic progress proves we’re on the trajectory of excellent progress & nicely previous the damaging impression of the Covid-induced slowdown. Proud to be boosting nationwide economic system,” Bommai tweeted.

Based on knowledge given by the Chief Minister, Maharashtra was in number-one spot with ₹23,598 crore in December, Karnataka in second with ₹10,061 crore and Gujarat third with ₹9,238 crore adopted by Tamil Nadu with ₹8,324 crore.
