Two individuals died in a hit-and-run crash Friday on U.S. Freeway 287 north of Longmont and investigators are asking for the general public’s assist in finding the motive force who fled.
The crash occurred round 5 p.m. and street rage is suspected within the four-vehicle incident, based on the Colorado State Patrol.
Witnesses advised investigators that drivers of two autos, a darkish purple or maroon pickup truck and a Chevrolet Camaro, had been presumably road-raging previous to the crash, the CSP mentioned.
The pickup truck collided with the left facet of the Camaro, spinning the coupe into oncoming site visitors the place it was hit on the passenger facet by a northbound Toyota Tundra.
