Congress claims BJP’s Tejasvi Surya opened emergency exit of IndiGo flight

Opposition Congress on Tuesday focused Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya, amid reviews that the passenger, who by accident opened the emergency exit of an IndiGo aircraft after boarding at Chennai airport final month was the BJP Yuva Morcha chief.

It has additionally questioned as to why the federal government hid the incident so lengthy. Neither Surya or his workplace have reacted to the allegations to this point.

In a collection of tweets, sharing media reviews, it requested as to why the federal government hid Surya’s try to open the emergency exit door, by violating the flight security guidelines.

“What was the MP’s intention? What plans had been there to create a catastrophe? Why was he transferred to the again seat after apologising?,” the Congress requested, whereas questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi as to who would have been chargeable for the catastrophe if this “prank” had been carried out after take-off.

“Why is that this not being investigated?” it additional requested.

A senior official at aviation regulator DGCA on Tuesday mentioned the occasion was duly reported and that no security was compromised.

Karnataka Congress president D Okay Shivakumar too sharing the information report accusing Surya mentioned, “For a secure take-off and touchdown, all the time fly with Congress.”

Questioning whether or not the MP used his good workplaces to suppress this information, Congress MLA and KPCC’s Communications in-charge Priyank Kharge tweeted, “Why is Indigo so hesitant to call the passenger? Why didn’t they report back to DGCA? Why is No Feedback from the MP? BJP’s Tejasvi Surya allegedly opened emergency exit of IndiGo flight, flight delayed by 2 hours.”
