Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], January 29 (ANI): Congress chief Jairam Ramesh on Sunday stated that the permission to unfurl tricolour at Srinagar’s Lal Chowk on Sunday was given by state administration.

Congress had earlier deliberate to hoist the nationwide flag on the PCC Workplace on Monday to mark the tip of Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir.

Jairam Ramesh stated in a tweet, “@RahulGandhi was purported to unfurl nationwide flag on Jan thirtieth in PCC workplace, since permission to take action elsewhere wasn’t given. Jairam’s assertion got here hours after Congress MP Rahul Gandhi unfurled the nationwide flag at Lal Chowk in Srinagar on Sunday.

Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is in its final leg in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Yatra will journey to Nehru Park within the Boulevard space of town and can culminate on Monday.

The Yatra resumed on Friday morning from the Nationwide Freeway-44, Banihal Railway station, within the UT’s Ramban district.
