Chabbi joined BJP within the presence of Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, State BJP President Nalin Kumar Katil and cupboard minister Govind Karjol.
In one other setback to Congress, on April 7, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy joined BJP.
Reddy on March 13, 2023, despatched a letter to the Congress’ nationwide president Mallikarjun Kharge. “Please settle for this letter as my resignation from the first membership of the Indian Nationwide Congress,” he wrote in a letter.
On Thursday, former defence minister AK Antony’s son Anil Antony joined BJP in Delhi.
Anil Antony joined the BJP within the presence of Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and V Muraleedharan. Kerala BJP chief Okay Surendran and senior celebration leaders Tarun Chugh and Anil Baluni had been additionally current on the event.
Anil Antony thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his induction into BJP.
