Congress leaders brandish swords during Tipu Jayanti celebration in Bengaluru | Bengaluru

A number of native Congress leaders have been seen brandishing swords throughout Tipu Jayanti celebration at Bengaluru on Thursday. This regardless of a ban on the usage of weapons throughout spiritual capabilities within the state.

Based on documented historical past, Tipu Sultan fought towards the British and died in 1799 whereas defending his capital Srirangapatna (present-day Mandya).

The celebration of 18th-century ruler’s delivery anniversary had pit the BJP towards the Congress, with a number of saffron occasion leaders condemning the grand previous occasion over it.
