Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 2 (ANI): Congress’s candidate Dhangekar Hemraj was main the BJP’s Hemant Narayan Rasane by 4,443 votes within the counting of votes for Kasba Peth Meeting constituency, whereas in Chinchwad, BJP’s Ashwini Laxman Jagtap was main Nationalist Congress Occasion’s Vitthal aka Nana Kate by 4,019 votes, as per the newest tendencies shared by the Election Fee (EC) on Thursday.

Impartial candidate from neighbouring Chinchwad Meeting constituency, Kalate Rahul Tanaji, was a distant third with 8,999 votes, as per the newest tendencies.

Talking to mediapersons, the Congress’ Maharashtra president Nana Patole talked up the celebration’s possibilities at Kasba Peth, saying, “The individuals of Pune have rejected all makes an attempt to undermine democracy via the usage of cash and intimidation.”

Amid the counting of votes, Kasba Peth BJP Candidate Hemant Rasane provided prayers at Shreemant Dagdusheth Haliwali Ganpati Temple in Pune.
