CPI(M) to join final leg of Bharat Jodo Yatra in Srinagar on Jan 30: D Raja

Communist Celebration of India (CPI) common secretary D Raja on Tuesday mentioned that he can be becoming a member of the ultimate leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY) in Srinagar on January 30.

CPI’s Raja whereas accepting the invitation by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge mentioned the get together MP Binoy Viswam will even accompany him throughout the conclusion of the Rahul Gandhi-led march.

In his letter to Gandhi, Raja hailed the Bharat Jodo Yatra and the message it carried of concord and equality.

Whereas remembering the contribution of Mahatma Gandhi, the CPI common secretary added, “It’s crucial that every one shades of secular, democratic and patriotic opinion should unite to reclaim the republic, defend constitutional values and struggle for the inclusive India Mahatma Gandhi, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, and Shaheed Bhagat Singh dreamt of. Mahatma Gandhi sacrificed his life for the reason for unity within the nation, his martyrdom evokes us to shed the divisions of “us” and “them” and are available collectively to form a greater India.”

The Bharat Jodo Yatra is at present in Punjab.

The Punjab leg is scheduled to culminate on January 19 in Pathankot after which the BJY will enter its closing vacation spot, Jammu & Kashmir the place a flag-hoisting ceremony on the anniversary of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi can also be deliberate.

The march started on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu and can conclude in Srinagar on January 30.

To this point, the yatra has lined Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana.
