Dasara Mahotsava begins at Kudroli temple in Karnataka’s Mangaluru | Bengaluru

The grand Dasara Mahotsava on the Kudroli Gokarnanatha temple right here started on Monday with the set up of goddesses Navadurga and Sharada. The celebrations will likely be held until October 6 throughout which interval numerous cultural and religious programmes will likely be carried out on the temple premises, the temple authorities stated.

“Pushpalankara pooja” will likely be carried out day by day at 12.30 pm and “Bhajana” will likely be held from 7 to eight pm. Cultural programmes will begin within the night on all 9 days. The grand procession of Dasara Mahotsava will start at 4 pm on October 5.

Former Union Minister Janardhan Poojary will lead all of the celebrations being held on the temple. In the meantime, all of the temples of the dual districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi have been decked up for the pageant. Particular poojas are to be supplied for 9 days and on the tenth day Vijayadashami will likely be celebrated.

Navaratri is being celebrated in any respect temples across the metropolis together with Sri Mangaladevi temple, Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari temple, Polali Sri Rajarajeshwari temple and Bappanadu Sri Durgaparameshwari temple. Particular poojas will likely be held in temples together with Kollur, Mandarti, Ucchila, Neelavara, Nandikooru, Indrani, Bailoor, Ambalpady and Kukkundoor in Karkala. The Mahanavarastri pageant celebrations at Mookambika temple at Kollur in Udupi was inaugurated by temple administration committee president Kerai Chandrashekar Shetty.

Ganapathi pooja was held, adopted by “Mangalarathi.” The temple has made all preparations for folks arriving from numerous components of the state and devotees from Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Shetty stated. Temple government officer S P B Mahesh was additionally current.
