Denver police are investigating the tackling of Colorado Rockies baseball mascot Dinger, who was interrupted whereas dancing this week throughout a Coors Subject residence recreation in opposition to the St. Louis Cardinals, as an assault.
A fuzzy purple triceratops with a brilliant yellow beak, Dinger was dancing Monday atop the Rockies’ dugout for the gang when a person behind the dugout darted out from the bleachers and took down the mascot.
“We’re working with the Rockies to attempt to establish the person who was concerned,” Denver Police spokesman Doug Schepman mentioned Thursday. “We’re all of the obtainable proof.”
