Deputy U.S. Marshals from Colorado flew to Canada this week to extradite a fugitive suspect again to the US, officers introduced Friday.
Joel Rioux, 44, was within the custody of the Alberta Sheriff’s Workplace in Canada awaiting extradition on murder prices when Marshals arrived to take him again to Boulder County, in accordance with a news release from the U.S. Marshals Service Denver.
Marshals turned Rioux over to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Workplace and he was booked into the Boulder County Jail Thursday, in accordance with inmate data.
Along with murder prices, Rioux can also be being held on suspicion of two misdemeanor and one felony “Did not Seem” prices, in accordance with jail data.
Rioux will seem in court docket for a preliminary listening to on Thursday, April 11, in accordance with Boulder court docket data.
