Deve Gowda meets PM Modi, submits memorandum concerning development of Karnataka | Bengaluru

Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament on Tuesday and mentioned points regarding the improvement of Karnataka.

Deve Gowda submitted a memorandum to PM Modi on points specializing in the Hassan Inexperienced Area airport venture in Karnataka; allocation of waters of inter-state rivers Cauvery, Krishna, Mahadayi and inclusion of Kunchitiga as a sub-caste of Vokkaliga within the central record of Different Backward Caste (OBC).

The memorandum submitted urged PM Modi on behalf of the group to incorporate Kunchitiga within the central record of OBC.

“I urge PM Modi on behalf of the group to incorporate Kunchitiga a sub-caste of Vokkaliga within the central record of backward courses by putting the matter earlier than the central authorities,” learn the memorandum.

He stated that PM Modi had taken all the problems very critically and would positively look into the matter.

“I’ve talked about about irrigation in rivers, caste Kunchitiga and different points in my memorandum. PM has taken them critically. He has gone via all of the papers I’ve given and stated he will definitely think about,” stated Former PM HD Deve Gowda.
