The injunction order on July 18 by the Extra Metropolis Civil and Periods Court docket was based mostly on a petition filed by Harshendra Kumar D, brother of BJP MP D Veerendra Heggade and secretary of the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Academic Society.

“Unknown individuals or events are cropping up and beginning to make allegations towards the plaintiff, his elder and his members of the family, the temple and the establishments run by them,” petition stated, and “vested individuals are persevering with to make false, frivolous, baseless and vexatious video contents.”
The petition stated it “contended that although there isn’t a allegation towards the plaintiff and his members of the family within the FIR or within the investigation up to now made, the defendants are making defamatory and false allegations with none foundation.”
