Donald Trump Jr. went on a rant over “woke ideology” as he described a “satanic” parody of Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Final Supper” that featured drag queens in the course of the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics on Friday.
The previous president’s son, who claimed his mom Ivana Trump was an Olympian regardless of the secretary normal of the Czechoslovak Olympic Committee not discovering any such report, stated he was excited concerning the video games when he was a toddler.
“Now with the ever predictable (& seemingly satanic to me) drag queen opening ceremonies and by no means ending bs, nobody I do know even thinks about it past perhaps watching some highlights,” he wrote.
“It’s such a disgrace that occasion that used to create a lot nationwide satisfaction now creates, at greatest, indifference. Utilizing the video games to push woke ideology has zero to do with something the video games stands for.”
Trump added that the second was a “true disservice” to a gaggle of “probably the most gifted and devoted individuals on earth.”
Thomas Jolly, the ceremony’s creative director, informed reporters on Saturday that he wasn’t conscious of the criticism surrounding the manufacturing and his purpose was to “embody everybody.”
“Our topic was to not be subversive. We by no means wished to be subversive. We wished to speak about range. Range means being collectively,” stated Jolly, per NBC Information.
He later continued, “In France, we’re republic, we now have the appropriate to like whom we would like, we now have the appropriate to not be worshippers, we now have a whole lot of rights in France, and that is what I wished to convey.”
