A drone has been “launched in direction of” the non-public residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu within the coastal city of Caesarea, his workplace has mentioned.
“The prime minister and his spouse weren’t on the location, and there have been no accidents within the incident,” an announcement mentioned.
It comes after the Israeli navy mentioned three drones have been launched from Lebanon into Israel with one hitting a constructing in Caesarea.
The Israeli authorities has not mentioned whether or not the constructing was a part of the Prime Minister’s residence nor the extent of any injury.
Netanyahu owns two non-public houses, in Caesarea and Jerusalem, and likewise spends time at Beit Aghion, the official prime minister’s residence in Jerusalem.
