After being closed for months as a consequence of excessive water ranges from record-breaking rain, the east boat ramp at Cherry Creek reservoir reopened Thursday.
Cherry Creek State Park acquired 6 inches of rain over three days in early Could, elevating the reservoir degree by 10 ft. The storm washed out park roads and closed each boat ramps, the swim seaside and picnic areas.
State officers introduced the reopening of the west ramp simply in time for Memorial Day weekend, however stored the east ramp closed due to high water levels submerging the area.
However in excellent news for Cherry Creek, the east boat ramp has been reopened!
