New Delhi [India], December 5 (ANI): The Election Fee has allowed the publication of the outcomes of exit polls for Himachal Pradesh Meeting election from 6.30 pm on Monday.
“As per the Fee’s notification, outcomes of the exit ballot for the Basic Election to the Legislative Meeting of Himachal Pradesh could be launched solely after 6:30 pm on December 5, 2022,” tweeted Chief Electoral Officer, Himachal Pradesh.
Earlier on November 13, the Election Fee of India prohibited the conduct of any exit ballot and publishing the results of exit polls from November 12 to December 5, 2022.
The Fee notified the interval from 8:00 am on November 12 to five.30 pm on December 5 because the interval throughout which conducting any exit ballot and publishing outcomes can be prohibited.
The polling was held for 68 constituency seats in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday, and the counting of votes is scheduled to be taken up on December 8.
