A Boulder house was evacuated Saturday morning after an electrical automobile caught fireplace and exploded within the storage.
The household was evacuated safely from the house, and nobody was damage, Boulder Fireplace-Rescue said Saturday in a news release.
Boulder Fireplace-Rescue crews responded to a fireplace alarm on Emerald Highway about 6 a.m. after an alarm was tripped on the home. When crews arrived, they discovered an electrical automobile smoking contained in the storage, the hearth division mentioned. Responders requested backup after the automobile exploded.
The house full of smoke, and firefighters remained on the scene to ventilate the house and take away different automobiles from the storage, the fire department said.
