European Fee President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv on Thursday for conferences meant to focus on help for Ukraine as the primary anniversary of Russia’s invasion nears.
“Good to be again in Kyiv, my 4th time since Russia’s invasion. This time, with my group of Commissioners,” she wrote on Twitter below a photograph of her arriving at a Kyiv railway station.

“We’re right here collectively to indicate that the EU stands by Ukraine as firmly as ever. And to deepen additional our help and cooperation.”
Members of the chief European Fee will meet members of the Ukrainian authorities on Thursday.
On Friday, von der Leyen and the chairman of the 27 European Union nationwide leaders, Charles Michel, will meet President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
