EU antitrust regulators on Monday opened their first investigations beneath the Digital Markets Act into Apple, Alphabet’s Google and Meta Platforms for potential breaches of the landmark EU tech guidelines.
“The (European) Fee suspects that the measures put in place by these gatekeepers fall wanting efficient compliance of their obligations beneath the DMA,” the EU govt stated in a press release.
