
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Workplace has confirmed {that a} regulation enforcement taking pictures at a Walmart in Evergreen is linked to a crash that has shut down eastbound Interstate 70 at Lookout Mountain.
In keeping with the sheriff’s workplace, a Colorado State Patrol (CSP) trooper was concerned within the taking pictures on the Walmart, positioned at 952 Swede Gulch Street. The suspect and trooper suffered minor accidents, however nobody was shot, in line with JCSO.
A police pursuit ensued after the taking pictures and led to a crash on I-70 close to milepost 254. CSP stated eastbound I-70 will likely be closed for an “prolonged” time frame.
