Farmers say Hry govt agreed to demands, lift blockade | Latest News India

Protesting farmers on Tuesday agreed to raise the blockade from the Delhi-Chandigarh freeway (NH44), saying that the state authorities had agreed to their calls for, nearly 31 hours after they began the blockade.

A central authorities official conscious of the matter stated the Haryana authorities will procure sunflower seeds at MSP (minimal help value). The bills can be borne by the state because the Centre can’t give MSP on sunflower seeds to 1 state and deny the others, the official stated.
