Father of terror suspect dies of heart attack in Mangaluru | Bengaluru

The daddy of one of many suspected terrorists who was lately arrested from Shivamogga, died at a personal hospital right here Friday night, household sources stated. The deceased Muneer Ahmed (57) was the daddy of Maaz Muneer (22), who was arrested by police on fees of getting hyperlinks with terror outfits.

Sources stated Ahmed had been admitted to Father Muller hospital right here after struggling a large coronary heart assault. Ahmed, who hailed from Thirthahalli in Shivamogga, had been a wholesale fish dealer in Thirthahalli and continued his enterprise in Mangaluru as effectively.

Ahmed was reportedly upset when his son Muneer was arrested on the suspicion of getting hyperlinks with terrorists. Ahmed’s physique was taken from Mangaluru by his family members to Tirthahalli in an ambulance the place the final rites had been carried out.

In the meantime, a preliminary inquiry by the investigating businesses has reportedly revealed that Muneer, one of many two suspected terrorists arrested in Shivamogga, was allegedly a member of the ISIS-inspired Al-Hind outfit which had deliberate to kill Hindu leaders and pro-Hindu officers within the state. The case has now been taken over by the NIA, police stated.

The opposite two are Yasin and Shariq. Whereas Yasin and Maaz are in police custody, Shariq is absconding. Yasin was first radicalised by Zabiullah, who was arrested for having hyperlinks with a Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed, based on police.

Later, Yasin impressed Maaz and Shariq to affix the IS. The trio wished to ascertain Caliphet, police stated. With the assistance of IS’ Telegram channel they made a bomb and efficiently exploded on the banks of river Tunga in Shivamogga, police stated including, they wished to hold out blasts throughout Karnataka.
