The FBI on Friday performed a consensual search on the Indianapolis residence of former Vice President Mike Pence, after labeled paperwork have been found at his home final month, an individual acquainted with the matter instructed Reuters.
The search comes just some weeks after Pence’s lawyer Greg Jacobs notified the Nationwide Archives in a Jan. 18 letter in regards to the discovery of data with labeled markings. The data have been then turned over to the FBI.
The search of Pence’s residence comes at a time when each former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden are every dealing with investigations by two particular counsels over the retention of labeled data.
