Three individuals have been taken to the hospital and 15 handled on scene as firefighters battled a two-alarm fireplace Thursday afternoon in Arapahoe County.

The fireplace is within the 1300 block of South Parker Street, in response to a 12:21 p.m. tweet from South Metro Fireplace District.
Firefighters encountered flames and heavy smoke on the second and third flooring of a multi-residential constructing.
South Metro, Aurora and Denver firefighters are engaged on the fireplace. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Workplace and Aurora police are additionally on the scene. Accidents suffered by the individuals who have been taken to the hospital have been described as “minor.”
