Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan's Political Adviser Kidnapped In Lahore: Report

The political adviser to jailed former Pakistan PM Imran Khan has reportedly been kidnapped

Lahore:

The political adviser to jailed former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan has reportedly been kidnapped by unknown males from Lahore, the capital of Punjab province, in accordance with a media report at present.

Ghulam Shabbir, who’s the elder brother of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Shahbaz Gill, was kidnapped by unknown people two days in the past whereas he was travelling to Islamabad, in accordance with an FIR registered on the Kahna police station, Pakistan’s Categorical Tribune newspaper reported.

The FIR, registered by his son Bilal, states that Shabbir had left his residence in Lahore’s Khayaban-e-Amin late at evening and headed in direction of Islamabad. No additional particulars have been obtainable.

Imran Khan has been in jail since August final 12 months after being convicted in among the practically 200 instances slapped on him since his ouster in April 2022.

In Might 2022, the previous cricketer-turned-politician launched a march towards Islamabad from Lahore to topple the coalition authorities of Shehbaz Sharif that assumed energy after he was ousted because the premier following a vote of no confidence.
