C-SPAN anchor Greta Brawner fact-checked far-right Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) throughout a viewer call-in on Friday.
Through the “Washington Journal” program, one caller informed Biggs how offended he was about former President Donald Trump’s want “to pardon the traitors which were convicted of seditious conspiracy” over the lethal U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.
“Come on. What the hell’s mistaken with you Republicans?” he requested Biggs.
Biggs, who helped set up the “Cease the Steal” rally that occurred instantly earlier than the riot, falsely claimed no person had been convicted of sedition.
