Union commerce and trade minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday paid tributes to the ‘Metal Man of India’ Dr Jamshed J Irani, who died on the age of 86 late Monday night time. Taking to Twitter, Goyal stated that Dr Irani was a changemaker, who helped construct belief for Model India globally, including the nation is invigorated by his spirit of enterprise.

“Change is the result of steely resolve & sustained endeavour. Padma Bhushan Dr Jamshed J Irani was a changemaker, who helped construct belief for Model India globally. India is invigorated by his spirit of enterprise. Prayers for the departed soul, condolences to his household,” Goyal tweeted.

The information of Dr Irani’s demise was given by Tata Metal on Monday.

“The Metal Man of India passes away. It’s with profound grief that Tata Metal informs of the demise of Padma Bhushan Dr Jamshed J Irani,” Tata Metal stated in a press release.

The corporate additionally tweeted, “We’re deeply saddened on the demise of Padma Bhushan Dr Jamshed J Irani, fondly often known as the Metal Man of India. Tata Metal household affords its deepest condolences to his household and family members.”

A Padma Bhushan recipient, Dr Jamshed J Irani was born on June 2, 1936. He accomplished his BSc from the Science Faculty in Nagpur in 1956 after which did an MSc in Geology from the Nagpur College in 1958, a report by information company PTI stated.
