Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Sunday credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the development of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, attacked the Congress, and requested voters to look out for “the Chunavi Hindu (electoral Hindu)”.

Maurya, who was campaigning in Ahmedabad forward of the Gujarat Meeting elections, mentioned Gujarat was extra necessary than Uttar Pradesh for the BJP. “For us, Gujarat with its 26 Lok Sabha seats and 182 Meeting seats is extra necessary than Uttar Pradesh, which has 80 Lok Sabha seats.”

At a public occasion organised by the Anya Bhasha-Bhashi Cell (Different Languages Cell) of state BJP within the Amraiwadi constituency, the place the BJP has fielded Hasmukh Patel, a physician, Maurya mentioned, “These whose solely purpose is to insult Hindus within the nation are chunavi Hindus. Look out for them…When elections are round, they go to the temple of Lord Somnath, Lord Ram, Hanuman. You need to recall that when the Congress was in energy within the nation, it had instructed the Supreme Courtroom that Lord Ram is simply imaginary.”

He added: “In the present day, what forces the Congress to pay respects to Ram Lalla? The individuals of the nation have identified the character of Congress. And due to this fact, the nation is turning into Congress-free.”

Maurya went on to credit score Modi for the development of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.“If Sardar Vallabhbhai had not been there, would the Somnath temple be renovated? And should you had not elected Modi because the PM of India, would the temple of Ram Lalla be in-built Ayodhya?”

Attacking the Congress, Maurya mentioned: “The world’s tallest statue of Sardar Patel, has been put in right here (in Gujarat). However have Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Vadra or Congress’s present president (Mallikarun Kharge) paid their obeisance at his toes?”
