
A bakery and cafe with roots in Denver is increasing to its first location outdoors of town, opening in a home north of Littleton’s Important Avenue this fall.
Fireplace Bakery, which sells handmade pastries, breads and a sister model of espresso, will open its fourth location at 5610 S. Curtice St., Littleton.
Founder Matt Quinlisk started promoting his items as Fireplace at farmers markets after the COVID-19 pandemic began. His first store opened in Denver in September 2022.
The Littleton store will function his signature items together with a full menu, which remains to be being developed. Quinlisk additionally plans to promote alcohol down the road.
With the opening will come the closing of Tablon Espresso Roasters, at 1441 S. Holly St., Denver, a espresso store run by Fireplace and named after the espresso brewed and bought on the bakeries. The workers of that espresso store is anticipated to switch to the Littleton store upon opening.
Fireplace has retailers in Denver’s Highland neighborhood, Uptown, and the River North Artwork District.
