Heavy rain likely in Karnataka, yellow alert for Bengaluru | Bengaluru

Bengaluru is about to see heavy showers on Wednesday, contemporary forecast from the India Meteorological Division (IMD) has indicated. The IMD issued a ‘yellow’ alert for Bengaluru City and Bengaluru Rural districts, amongst many others, together with Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Belagavi, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Raichur, Yadgir, Ballari, Chamarajanagara, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Hassan, Kodagu and Shivamogga.

The Karnataka State Pure Catastrophe Administration Centre (KSNDMC) additionally predicted “pretty widespread to very gentle to reasonable rains with remoted to scattered heavy to very heavy rains” over the state. Its state map painted some elements of Bengaluru City in blue, indicating large downpour in these elements.

The Malnad area can be anticipated to obtain widespread gentle to reasonable rains with remoted heavy rains, whereas coastal areas – Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts – are additionally set to see inclement climate.

The KSNDMC additionally predicted reasonable rains in Bengaluru’s west zone with a temperature of 20.4 levels Celsius.
