Union Residence Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday visited the well-known Mata Vaishno Devi shrine atop Trikuta hills in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Maha Navami pageant and supplied his prayers.
Accompanied by Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and Union Minister Jitendra Singh, the Residence Minister arrived at Sanji Chhat by helicopter to pay his obeisance on the shrine on the concluding day of the nine-day Navratra celebrations, officers mentioned.
Earlier than visiting the shrine, Shah in a tweet greeted the individuals of the nation on Maha Navami pageant.
“Wishing everybody a really comfortable Mahanavami. Could maa Bhagwati bathe her grace and blessings on everybody. Jai Mata Di!,” the house minister tweeted in Hindi.
The officers mentioned stringent safety preparations have been made on the shrine in view of the house minister’s go to.

He was acquired by senior officers of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) together with its Chief Government Officer Anshul Garg and outstanding individuals and non secular leaders, the officers mentioned.
The house minister is scheduled to fly to the border district of Rajouri to handle a public rally after leaving the shrine.
