An Indian citizen is amongst no less than six individuals killed in a capturing assault that focused a Shiite mosque in Oman’s capital Muscat, the Indian embassy stated on Tuesday.

“Following the capturing incident reported in in Muscat on 15 July, International Ministry of Sultanate of Oman has knowledgeable that one Indian nationwide has misplaced his life and one other is injured. We presents our honest condolences and stand prepared to supply all help to the households,” the embassy announced in a put up on social media platform X (previously Twitter).
The mosque is in Muscat’s Al-Wadi Al-Kabira space, in keeping with an announcement by the Royal Oman Police.
