A Pakistani intruder was killed alongside the worldwide border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Jammu district, a Border Safety Drive (BSF) spokesperson stated on Saturday, including that an infiltration bid from Pakistan was foiled.
On the intervening night time of April 4 and 5, BSF personnel noticed suspicious motion throughout the border, the spokesperson stated. After a while, the personnel allegedly noticed an intruder crossing the IB. The intruder was challenged, however he didn’t cease, the spokesperson added.
Sensing the menace, the BSF personnel ‘’neutralised’’ the intruder, the spokesperson stated, including that his identification and the motive for infiltration are being ascertained. The BSF will lodge a “robust” protest with its Pakistani counterparts, the spokesperson added.
