Infosys President Ravi Kumar S resigns ahead of Q2 results

IT companies main Infosys on Tuesday stated its president Ravi Kumar S has resigned from his submit.

The corporate didn’t give any motive for the transfer which comes simply days forward of its second quarter earnings announcement.

“The board of administrators positioned on report their deep sense of appreciation for the companies rendered by Ravi Kumar S for his contributions to the corporate,” Infosys stated in a regulatory submitting.

In his function as president, Ravi Kumar S led the Infosys International Companies Organisation throughout all trade segments.

He led the companies traces and specialised digital gross sales throughout consulting, expertise, infrastructure, engineering and course of verticals.

Beginning his profession as a nuclear scientist on the Bhabha Atomic Analysis Middle, he joined Infosys in 2002 and was appointed as its president in 2016.

Shares of Infosys, which is to announce its second-quarter earnings on October 13, ended 2.65 per cent decrease at Rs 1,423.90 apiece on the BSE.

The corporate board at its assembly on October 13 will even to contemplate a share buyback.
