William and Harrold deliberate the Valentine’s dinner at Highgrove to be outdoors regardless of the “sometimes chilly February night.”
The desk was set on the high of the famed and idyllic Thyme Stroll, which Harrold lovingly describes as “the beautiful avenue of clipped golden yew and herb bushes certain on two sides by a pleached hornbeam hedge that leads right down to the lily pond on the backside.”
Harrold briefed the chef in regards to the meal and laid out the desk for the lovebirds.
“The dinner was very nice, and what was candy was that William and Kate each stored chatting to me all through. It was very intimate, and afterward they went inside to thank the chef for the meal,” he shares.
The romantic vacation meal marked the start of the couple’s journey to their October 2010 engagement, adopted by their magnificent fairytale royal marriage ceremony in April 2011.
William is now first in line to the throne, behind his father, whereas the pair’s kids, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, are subsequent in line after their dad.
