Through the 2020 debates, Biden firmly rejected these allegations, stating, “None of that’s true.”
Tapper, on the time, wasn’t positive if Biden was “mendacity” or not. Nonetheless, he has since revisited these exchanges and in contrast them to a current report by Glenn Kessler, the chief fact-checker at The Washington Publish, which concluded that Biden was certainly mistaken.
Citing the report, Tapper mentioned, “Kessler wrote, ‘Hunter Biden reported almost 2.4 million in revenue in 2017 and a couple of.2 million in revenue in 2018,’ most of which got here from Chinese language or Ukrainian pursuits.”
“This immediately goes in opposition to what Joe Biden mentioned within the debate in 2020 with Donald Trump. Take a hear.”
