Bollywood actor Jaya Bachchan not too long ago revealed that actor, husband Amitabh Bachchan’s father Harivansh Rai Bachchan didn’t enable the couple (single then) to go on a visit collectively. The veteran actor mentioned that they preponed the marriage as a result of Amitabh’s father had mentioned, “If you wish to go for a vacation along with her, you marry her.”
In one of many episodes of the podcast collection What The Hell Navya, Jaya mentioned, “He (Amitabh) referred to as me and mentioned, ‘My mother and father are saying you may’t go for a vacation with Jaya. If you wish to go for a vacation along with her, you marry her.’ He mentioned, ‘What do you assume?’ I mentioned, ‘Nicely we have been planning to get married in October so it’s okay we are going to do it in June.’”
“We had determined we are going to get married in October as a result of by then my work would have lowered. He mentioned, ‘I positively don’t desire a spouse who can be 9-5. Please work. You have to work however not on daily basis. You select your initiatives, work with the precise individuals,’” she added.
Jaya Bachchan additionally mentioned that her father was not very pleased with the choice. She mentioned, “I mentioned, ‘However you’ll have to converse to my mother and father.’ He (Amitabh) referred to as my father and spoke to him. My father wasn’t very joyful.
