“Defendant deliberately or recklessly engaged in a sample of maximum and outrageous conduct that precipitated (Peterson) to endure extreme emotional misery,” the lawsuit states citing the April 2021 incident that landed Eli James behind bars for the third time.
“Defendant despatched (Peterson) over fifty textual content messages, violating the Emergency Safety Order,” the lawsuit said. “Defendant threatened (Peterson) stating: ‘I’m not mendacity that is why I wanna f—— hit you. I’m going to finish up dumping you driving away or knocking you the f— out.”
The younger James was sentenced to 2 days in jail on Might 19, 2021, for violating a safety order after being sentenced to 5 years probation for a felony “Steady Household Violence” conviction. He confronted as much as 10 years in jail and a positive of as much as $10,000.
