Washington:
Democrat Kamala Harris leads Republican Donald Trump 42% to 37% within the race for the Nov. 5 U.S. presidential election, in keeping with an Ipsos ballot printed on Thursday.
The ballot discovered Harris had widened her lead since a July 22-23 Reuters/Ipsos survey, which discovered her up 37% to 34% over Trump.
The nationwide ballot of two,045 U.S. adults, performed Aug. 2-7, discovered 4% of these surveyed backed impartial candidate Robert Kennedy Jr., down from 10% in July.
Ipsos performed the August ballot independently from Reuters. The ballot, performed on-line, had a margin of error of round 3 share factors.
Harris entered the race on July 21 when President Joe Biden, 81, folded his marketing campaign and endorsed Harris following a disastrous debate efficiency on June 27 in opposition to Trump.
