Days after Kanye West declared he “can say antisemitic issues and Adidas can’t drop me,” the German clothes firm did. And with that, West, whose partnership with Adidas accounted for $1.5 billion of his web value, misplaced his spot on the Forbes listing of billionaires.

Twitter and Instagram kicked him off, and former collaborators like Balenciaga and CAA reduce ties. This company exodus additionally included JP Morgan, Hole and Vogue.

However the largest blow was Adidas, which had labored with West on his Yeezy sneakers since 2013. With out Adidas, Forbes reported, “Ye is not a billionaire” and his web value plunges to $400 million.

“Adidas doesn’t tolerate antisemitism and another kind of hate speech,” the corporate mentioned in a press release. “Ye’s latest feedback and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and harmful, and so they violate the corporate’s values of range and inclusion, mutual respect and equity.”
