Karnataka income minister R Ashoka on Tuesday stated that the state authorities has determined to present ₹2,000 monthly to each Beneath Poverty Line (BPL) household and the choice shall be introduced within the upcoming price range.

He stated, “It has been determined to present month-to-month help of ₹2,000 to each BPL household within the state and an announcement will probably be made on this regard within the coming price range.”

Notably, Congress chief Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday stated that each lady head of a family will get ₹2,000 a month if the celebration is voted to energy within the state.

Speaking to reporters whereas staying at Machanala Tanda of the taluk on Tuesday evening, he stated, “The Congress would give ₹2,000 a month if it involves energy. It will likely be relevant from July. However we’re going to begin straight away.”

He added that Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai will give extra details about it.
