Karnataka High Court highlights misuse of flags and symbols, issues directions to implement regulations

On this context, the excessive courtroom issued instructions to the State in addition to the Ministries for Dwelling Affairs, Street Transport, and Client Affairs to implement the related legal guidelines. The courtroom additionally directed {that a} discover ought to be issued for the removing of unauthorised flags and logos, whereas setting out applications to sensitise officers and authorities to forestall misuse. It was additionally advisable that schoolchildren and regulation college students be concerned in spreading consciousness.

The courtroom additionally directed that the visitors police must be sensitised to identify such violations, and rules framed to cancel driving licenses and impose fines on violators.
