The Karnataka authorities has elevated the compensation introduced for victims of the stampede that occurred on Tuesday throughout the IPL victory celebration of Royal Challengers Bengaluru on the M Chinnaswamy stadium.
Whereas the federal government initially introduced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to every of the victims, together with free remedy to the injured, kin of the stampede victims will now obtain a compensation of Rs 25 lakh.
The announcement was made by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s workplace on Saturday night.
