The Centre has denied permission to Congress chief and Karnataka Minister for IT and Biotechnology Priyank Kharge to journey to the US of America, the place he was scheduled to take part in tech conferences.

As soon as I’m again in Bengaluru, I’ll search a transparent clarification from the Authorities of India relating to this denial,” he stated.
Priyank Kharge, who’s the son of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, has been in France since June 11 to take part in a number of occasions and was scheduled to fly to the US later. “He had sought permission from the central authorities to take part within the conferences within the USA. They initially delayed the permission and finally denied it,” sources in Kharge’s workplace informed The Indian Specific.
The minister is predicted to return to Bengaluru on Thursday. He had participated in periods held at Viva Tech 2025 and the Paris Air Present over the previous few days. Following the occasions in France, Kharge was slated to take part within the BIO Worldwide Conference at Boston – thought-about to be the biggest biotech occasion – adopted by the Design Automation Convention in San Francisco.
Sources added that whereas state authorities officers accompanying the minister had been allowed to fly to the US to take part within the occasions, Kharge was denied permission on the final minute.
